O is for the only one I see,
V is very very, extraordinary,
E is even more than anyone that you adore..
Is what I'd like to think the vibe would be when I went there to Serdang with Elyssa, her twin Elynna and Aiman, my sister.
We headed to Serdang from Taman Desa, Elyssa and Elynna's crib, while listening to Sheila on 7 (because when you're in Lyssa's car, that's basically the only thing that plays on her radio). Not saying it's a bad thing. Love love, Sheila on 7. Love love, Lyssa, haha.
Since we already bought the ticket beforehand, we did not need to queue up for too long and plus, most people were smart enough to buy the tickets at 7-11 cause it costs about RM16 per adult but if you buy it there and then, it would cost you RM20. Yeah, even RM4 is precious, no joke.
We arrived around 9 o'clock I think, and everyone had to queue up to from the parking lot in order to take the shuttle bus going there. It was packed, like sadwiches. I meant, all of us, in the bus, LOL. That was just the beginning and it didn't deter us to go and watch the ever so lovely flower LED lights that we saw on the internet. We know, they're waiting for us, as we are, so eagerly, wanting to see them. *bear with my indefinite imagination that transcends boundaries
Although it was loads and packed with people, the lights are certainly a feast to the eyes. You don't .
get to see an abundance of light decorated prettily everyday. There's also a lot of places where you can take pictures. Of course, love being the theme, it's visible everywhere all the way from the lights to the decorative objects and with the love songs that were blasted all throughout the area.
Main attraction, the flowers, blooming purely in white, lightening up the night. Indeed it is, pretty, super pretty. You can see lots of couple bringing their other half to witness it. The ones who came with their friends and family are even more. *how I wish my prince charming would just appear now, can you like, stop hiding already? LOL #foreveralone .Anyway, from what I've read, apparently the flowers were arranged in the shape of the hibiscus upon which the event was held in the remembrance of none other than, our Independence Day which is on the 31st of August, 1957. I think, it's a good thing to do it like that but, there's no point if you can't see it no? Unless you're in a helicopter or something cause for us, it's just like looking at a sea of LED flowers. Nonetheless, still pretty.
Can you see the picture below? It took us an HOUR! Yes, an hour to take the picture and what about the picture? yes, picking up this tiny little micro-organismic picture took us another HOUR. The exhaustion! And we even went on a weekday. I can't even dare to imagine how it would be on a weekend.
Was it worth it? Despite the weather being hot, it really was super hot, I just had to repeat it heh, and the food being super expensive, they marked up everything to the point of it being ridiculous. Utterly ridiculous. That's the only negative side of it. I mean, hey, you would expect it would be sweaty and packed since you don't have this kind of flower in your 'country' everyday. *I didn't expect it actually, hence the black sweater and I even had to take off my spectacles cause it was just foggy, but it's all good now, OBVIOUSLY! And the pain of queuing up, well, since we were willing, we had to take it or leave it nah? So, us being youth in their early 20's sucked it up and queued up!
It was a good night, spending time with your loved ones, not only for me, but for everybody who went there, I'm sure they also had a good time. Taking time off from their lives and just spend it here, then, enjoying the moment, the view and the people.
GOOD VIBES, ALWAYS
Much love, BukanNamaKau
